Subsequent to the workshop in Hue in December 2017, the FloodAdaptVN consortium gladly integrated the contributions, ideas and research questions that were developed by the participants of the workshop into a proposal for funding that was submitted to the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
After a thorough review in a competitive process, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has recently signalized that our project will be funded and enter the so called Definition Phase (starting in mid-2019). During this phase of the research project, the objectives can still be adjusted in order to better meet the needs in a way that it is most relevant to decision-makers, planners, and practitioners in Central Vietnam.
